I was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma by my mother and older sisters. From a young age, I was enthralled in reading books, starting with J.K. Rowling as a child and eventually Stephen King by middle school.
My interest in reading shifted into an intense passion for writing by high school. I joined my high school’s Yearbook organization, and then received an internship with the OU Daily once I attended the University of Oklahoma.
My major is Journalism with a minor in International Studies, which I plan to focus on when I study abroad in Germany in 2023. In my free time, I enjoy writing, drumming, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
